Pamela Villaseñor is the Executive Advisor to the Fernandeño Tataviam Band of Mission Indians. Pamela Villaseñor has worked on her Tribe’s nation building efforts, such as spearheading the establishment of the Tribe’s Department of Education and Cultural Learning by fusing culture with education and building the capacity of the Tribe’s non-profit. Currently, Villasenor is reorganizing the Tribe’s child welfare and wellness programs. Villaseñor’s fellowships and awards include Americans for Indian Opportunity, Native Americans in Philanthropy, Night with the Stars Honoree, and L.A. Natural History Museum recognition. Villaseñor is married and enjoys teaching her daughter culture and love for tarahat (Indian people).
