Just South of Manchester and off of Crenshaw stands tall a former dairy mart, home to an artist collective and art gallery dedicated to shifting the trauma-induced conditions of poverty and economic injustice, bridging cultural work and advocacy, and investigating ancestries through the lens of Inglewood and its community. As part of The For Freedoms Congress, we enthusiastically invite you to join us at the inaugural barbecue for The Crenshaw Dairy Mart. Together we will celebrate The Dairy Mart and For Freedoms communities, and honor South Central Los Angeles and its contributions to the history of fine arts and practice.
The evening will include DJing by Suga Shay, the Dairy Mart's exhibition Yes on R!, as well as host a talkback between art advisor Autumn Breon Williams and artist, musician, and filmmaker Damon Davis. Beer, wine, and Kenny's BBQ will be provided.

8629 Crenshaw Blvd, Inglewood, CA 90305, USA
