I am passionate about the power of visual images to shape culture and society. We bring the art of Norman Rockwell and American illustration, art that tells America’s story, to the world through traveling exhibitions, digital connectivity, scholarship and publications. Art is a powerful cultural diplomacy tool; few artists were more effective communicators than Norman Rockwell and the illustrators. His iconic Four Freedoms paintings inspired Hank Willis Thomas and Eric Gottesman to spark the ForFreedoms movement.
