Karen Wong is the Deputy Director of the New Museum, NYC. In 2013, she cofounded the initiative NEW INC, the first museum-led incubator for art, technology and design and leads the newly announced, mixed reality accelerator ONX Studio, to open in Summer 2019. She was the managing director of the architecture firm Adjaye Associates from 2000-2006. She sits on the boards of Apex for Youth that mentors underserved Asian youth, David Byrne’s Arbutus Foundation, new music venue National Sawdust, civic project Plus Pool and new media platform Rhizome. She is an adjunct assistant professor at Columbia University GSAPP.
